Brief description:  A tall shrub or little tree to 20 m. Leaves are scattered, leathery, somewhat evergreen, aromatic, oblong to elliptic or lanceolate, simple, alternate, entire, pinnately veined, glaucous and fine-hairy beneath, margins entire. Flowers are perfect, fragrant, white and subglobose. Fruits are cone-ellipsoid, aggregated on a cone-like gynophore. 

Campus data: Very rare on campus. One individual encountered.
